On a beautiful day filled with camaraderie and purpose, Women in Wheels embarked on an inspiring charity drive in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This event was not just about the thrill of driving; it was about coming together as a community to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
The Journey Begins with a morning coffee and an all female car drive
Our adventure kicked off at the Torque Moto Cafe in Horsham, where seven spirited ladies and one adorable dog gathered to fuel up—not just on coffee, but on motivation for the day ahead. The atmosphere was electric as we admired each other’s stunning vehicles, which included powerful #Mustangs, sleek #Porsches, and the dynamic #BMW #M2. It was a sight to behold, showcasing the beauty and strength of women in the automotive world.
Scenic Stops Along the Way
As we set off on our journey, our first stop was the picturesque #CowdrayEstate. The stunning backdrop provided the perfect opportunity for some memorable photos and bonding moments among our participants. It was a reminder of the beauty surrounding us, both in nature and in the shared passion we have for cars and community.
Finishing Strong at Caffeine and Machine - The Hill
We concluded our drive at the renowned The Hill - Caffeine and Machine in Petersfield, a haven for #carenthusiasts. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as we rolled in, and we were thrilled to announce that Caffeine and Machine generously donated yard tickets to our cause. Together, we raised an impressive £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support! This amount will go a long way in providing vital services for those affected by cancer, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
A Day of Women Empowerment and Community
This charity drive was more than just a fun day out; it was a testament to the power of community and the strength of women coming together for a cause. Each lady who participated not only contributed to a worthy charity but also helped to break down barriers in the automotive industry, proving that women belong behind the wheel, both on and off the track.
